I’m Malina, a seasoned professional with a rich background in global sales, business development, and strategic partnerships within the IT industry.
Over the past 15+ years, I have held leadership roles in various multinational companies as well as start-ups; currently, I am the Founder and General Manager of Global Digital Ventures.
Here, I offer consulting and advisory services to startups, aiding their expansion into Asia and establishing headquarters in Singapore.
In 2016, I joined UiPath, the global leader in Robotic Process Automation (RPA). During my tenure, I contributed to the company’s phenomenal growth from 30 employees to 6,000, achieving a revenue increase of over 1000X.
As one of the first sales leaders in Bucharest, Romania, I was responsible for the Go to Market strategy and global expansion across India, Japan, APAC, and EMEA regions. I also played a key role in establishing legal entities across APAC, focusing on operations in Southeast Asia and setting up UiPath’s headquarters in Singapore since 2018.
In my present advisory capacity, I specialize in guiding startups on regional expansion and strategy development.
My expertise in international business, market development, global channel and sales development, and key account management has been crucial in leading regional and global sales teams and managing key accounts effectively
With a diverse skill set in global business strategy, key account management, and early-stage startup mentoring and investment, I am passionate about driving growth and innovation in the tech industry.
My technology focus areas include automation, RPA, AI, digital transformation, low-code/no-code platforms, and cybersecurity.
Passionate about empowering women in tech, I actively seek to connect, partner, and support organizations or individuals committed to promoting women in STEM areas.
I co-founded and co-manage Sponsors in Tech Singapore and co-managed Girls in Tech Singapore, focusing on empowering women in technology.
